Arrábida Untold  /  The Destination

Where the sea
meets the wild

Arrábida and Sesimbra sit just 40 minutes south of Lisbon — and a world apart from anywhere else in Portugal. This is our home, and the stage for everything we do.

A natural park, a fishing village, and forty kilometres of coastline that never quite looks the same twice. Arrábida is one of the last places in Western Europe where wilderness and civilisation exist side by side — without either apologising for the other.

Natural Park

Arrábida

The Arrábida Natural Park stretches along 30 kilometres of dramatic limestone cliffs, plunging into some of the clearest, warmest water in Portugal. Protected since 1976, the park shelters ancient forests, rare flora, and a coastline that genuinely stops people in their tracks.

Here you'll find secluded beaches accessible only by boat, vineyards that have been producing wine since the 16th century, and a silence that feels earned.

This is where we run our sailing and boat experiences, where we source the fish for our gastronomy tours, and where the light at golden hour makes even seasoned travellers reach for their cameras.

Sesimbra
Fishing Village

Sesimbra

Sesimbra is the kind of fishing village that tourism almost forgot. A Moorish castle watches over whitewashed houses tumbling down to a crescent bay. Local fishermen still bring in the catch every morning. Restaurants serve grilled sea bream and octopus salad to locals and visitors alike, without ceremony.

We use Sesimbra as both a base and a destination — for slow mornings with coffee and pastéis, for diving in the crystal-clear reserve, and for evenings when the right table and the right wine make everything else feel unnecessary.

The contrast is the point

Two places.
One experience.

Most visitors choose one or the other. We think the real magic is in the contrast — wild cliffs and a quiet village, open sea and ancient forest, adventure and stillness.

Our experiences are designed to show you both.
